A style guide and aid used to help create visually consistent training materials.
New training team members often lacked guidance on how to create content that followed our company’s branding. As a result, materials became visually inconsistent, cluttered, or outdated.
This resource was designed to help trainers create polished, on-brand presentations by following clear visual standards for layout, typography, color, and imagery.
The guide outlines essential slide types and design elements, while the companion PDF offers a quick-reference aid with branding colors, fonts, and layout tips to support content creation.

The need for a style guide became clear as the team began creating new training content without a consistent visual standard.
With no centralized documentation on what branding elements to use, materials varied in quality and often didn’t reflect our company's image. I proactively initiated the design of a style guide to establish visual and structural consistency across all training decks.
I mapped out the essential content that needed to be in every training deck — such as title slides, learning objectives, transition slides, and summary pages.
Using Google Slides, I drafted a clear structure, incorporating placeholders, guidance text, and example layouts. I also gathered effective slide examples from past projects and added them into a sample template section for easy inspiration.
During this process, I identified additional needs for visual guidance, such as how to integrate brand-approved imagery, icons, and personas into learning content. These were organized into clearly labeled sections in the guide.
Once the structure and layout were finalized, I fully developed the Style Guide slide deck using our current branding guidelines. I sourced all fonts, colors, and images from our internal Brand Assets library to ensure accuracy.
To support day-to-day use, I created the Style Aid Companion PDF, a simplified quick-reference tool trainers could keep on hand. It included our HEX codes, typography do’s and don’ts, spacing examples, and visual tips—helping speed up the design process while ensuring brand compliance.
